Dr Rümando Kok is a HPCSA registered clinical psychologist and senior lecturer. He has been practicing as a clinical psychologist since 2011 and is currently the clinical lead of the practice at the Centre for Health & Human Performance (CHHP): Psychology and Wellbeing at the North-West University: Potchefstroom Campus. Dr Rümando Kok has an interest in individual psychotherapy for adults, as well as couples and family therapy. He also has an interest in change processes in psychotherapy and a special interest in working with personality disorders from a schema therapy perspective. He has presented numerous workshops and facilitated many executive coaching sessions in different settings, including sport, academic and corporate. He is actively involved in service delivery with a community engagement focus. He also lectures masters’ students in clinical and counselling psychology. In addition, he is responsible for supervision of practical work of masters’ students in clinical psychology, as well as intern psychologists. He is also a research supervisor for several masters’ students in clinical, counselling and research psychology, as well as promotor for several PhD students in psychology.
