Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy

I am a Professor in the School of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy at the Faculty of Health Sciences, North-West University. I have been actively involved in teaching in Pharmaceutics and Biochemistry and lecture for the fourth and second year BPharm students. My current research focus on Additive manufacturing (AM) for the direct fabrication of three-dimensional (3D) tissue constructs or scaffolds. We focus on the fabrication of various 3D hydrogel scaffolds utilising a specific type of AM technology known as 3D bioprinting. We use the tissue constructs to improve drug screening and drug delivery.
