As a pharmacist with diverse postgraduate qualifications, I integrate advanced clinical knowledge with proactive healthcare strategies.  Currently pursuing the IOC Diploma in Sports Pharmacy, I aim to transition pharmacy practice from reactive treatment towards enhancing physiological resilience and delaying disease onset.  My research investigates mitochondrial dysfunction in mood disorders, specifically paediatric depression.  Utilizing validated rodent models, I explore how manipulating bioenergetic constructs can prevent neuropsychiatric behaviours in younger populations, bridging the gap between metabolic health and mental wellness.
