M.Sc. Scholarship

Candidates can apply for a scholarship to do a MSc degree in nutrition or dietetics at either CEN (NWU) or at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (University of Ghana) depending on their location. The candidate will have to meet the requirements of the specific university for admission to postgraduate studies.

A scholarship will be awarded for 2 years in order for students to obtain a M.Sc. qualification. The UG will use the scholarships to attract students from neighbouring English speaking countries to encourage collaboration with other groups and universities, whilst CEN will also aim to attract students from countries neighbouring South Africa. The successful candidate will be expected to have a co-study leader from a university in their home country.

Do I qualify for this scholarship?

Candidates must have the following:

• An appropriate 4 year degree in Nutrition or dietetics
• Recommendation letter from a potential co-study leader at a university in home country
• Meet the requirements for admission to either NWU or UG
