Prof van Zyl is passionate about advancing evidence-based nutrition research in the Centre of Excellence for Nutrition. Her teaching and learning experience is in food service management, with a strong commitment to experiential, student-centred teaching and the development of future nutrition professionals. She enjoys sharing her foodservice expertise with the community to improve the quality of meals and to ensure food safety.
