Complaints Procedure

 

 

In order to ensure transparency and expediency within the Ethics Office, as well as the ethics committees that it supports, there is a very clear procedure that is in place, when a complaint is received (as indicated in the attached SOP).

There are three types of complaints:

  • Complaints from researchers about a member of the NWU-HREC/NWU-AnimCareREC or the NWU-HREC/NWU-AnimcareREC itself

  • Complaints from a member of the NWU-HREC/NWU-AnimCareREC or the NWU-HREC/NWU-AnimCareREC itself about a researcher

  • Complaints received from a research participant, co-researcher, research assistant, or interested community member about research conduct and/or the researcher

If you would like to lay a complaint, please direct it toward the following individuals (for NWU-AnimCareREC and NWU-HREC, respectively).
