Overview
The aim of this sub-theme in HART is to ultimately drive policy change based on rigorous evidence and cutting-edge research to promote cardiovascular health in South Africa. This sub-theme, Epidemiology and preventive science hosts some of HART's well-known cross-sectional and longitudinal cohort studies, as well as population outcomes research. HART research follows a life course approach to identify the early onset and development of disease and to find preventive solutions to optimise health and health care in the African landscape.
