A functional Medical School requires an appropriate clinical training platform that can ensure students experience a variety of diseases, procedures and technologies. Initially the clinical training platform will be within the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District of the North West and as the Medical School is established and progress, this platform can extend to other districts in the province. Infrastructure
Academic buildings on the Potchefstroom Campus, at the Klerksdorp – and Tshepong Hospital. These buildings include lecture venues, state-of-the-art laboratories, clinical skills and simulation facilities, an immersive room, a simulated Primary Health Care clinic, and digital health technologies.
