The Research Focus Area, Physical Activity, Sport and Recreation is a dynamic research entity at the North-West University, Potchefstroom in South Africa that offers a diversity of experiences in a multi-cultural environment. We focus on applied research to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals #3, #8, #11, #13. To achieve our targets, PhASRec researchers aim to appoint experts in the field of Physical Activity, Sport Sciences, Recreation, leisure, Exercise Sciences, Biomechanics, Motor learning, Performance optimisation and Machine learning.

Self-funded research internship positions of 1 – 3 months working within various research projects to obtain research experience in project planning and management, data collection and cleaning, data analyses and reporting of research findings through article preparation or drafting of a report, or oral presentations.
