BPharm, MBA
Martine Vorster, BPharm, MBA, is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at North-West University. She is a registered pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council. With eight years of experience in the Department of Health, she has gained experience as a Responsible Pharmacist and Sub-District Pharmacist. Currently, she lectures on the pharmacotherapy of Disorders of the Central Nervous System to third-year undergraduate students and Governance in Pharmaceutical Systems as part of the MPharm curriculum.
She obtained her MBA, specialising in Organisational Behaviour, at the North-West University Business School. She supervises postgraduate students at Medicine Usage in South Africa (MUSA). Martine has a special interest in Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoepidemiology, and Public Healthcare Systems.
