MUSA, Clinical Pharmacy

Dr Jesslee du Plessis is a medical practitioner and senior lecturer in the School of Pharmacy at the North-West University, Potchefstroom. She holds an MBChB from the University of Pretoria and an MPharm in Pharmacy Practice (Cum Laude) from NWU, with a focus on asthma and chronic disease management. Alongside lecturing in clinical pathology and adverse drug reactions, she practices as a general practitioner in Potchefstroom. Her research interests include diabetes care, non-communicable diseases, drug-related problems, and lifestyle medicine, and she contributes to international SAHPRA-approved clinical trials and serves on an independent data safety management board.
