The session is aimed at discussing the current activities of the cosmetic industry and the vital part of the conference, COSSC 2019 Program  will cover a comprehensive range of topics under two main themes:

Theme 1: International cosmetic regulations, are we compatible with international guidelines? The current SA regulation and legislation status. How to move forward. 

• SAHPRA will discuss the current SA cosmetic legislation status. Industry raw material suppliers and product owners/manufacturers investigating exporting cosmetic products or already exporting and cosmetic industry regulatory challenges will be discussed.

Theme 2: Is your cosmetic product in fact safe? 

This theme will question how to demonstrate safety and compliance or your cosmetic products. Discussion topics will include: PIF structure and minimum contents, essential dossier documents and data, which tests reports are required and what information they should provide. General cosmetic product safety assessments and principles, product stability and stability testing approaches, analytical and clinical testing applicable to cosmetic products, cosmetic product safety assessments and regulatory requirements are some of the topics to be discussed.
