Background

Dr. Jonathan Nsamba is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physiology at North‑West University, where he contributes to the Hypertension in Africa Research Team’s cardiovascular studies. His PhD work explored the cardiometabolic risk profiles of children and adolescents in Uganda. His research interests include metabolic, cardiovascular, and lifestyle biomarkers and their effect on the microvascular and macrovascular structure and function, particularly in young populations. He is also passionate about evidence‑based synthesis, employing rigorous methods to inform clinical practice and public‐health policy in Africa.
