The NWU Medical School Technical Task Team, under the leadership of the Executive Dean (Prof Awie Kotzé) was compiled to conduct technical work and provide advice to NWU.

In January 2024, the Task Team was amended into a Project Team consisting of:
- Executive Dean and Infrastructure, Human Resources and Finances (Prof Awie Kotzé)
- Project Lead and Clinical Training Platform Lead (Prof Binu Luke)
- Operations Lead (Prof Petra Bester); Governance Lead (Prof Beth Engelbrecht)
- Curriculum Lead (Prof Julia Blitz).
