In order to establish and strenghten nutrition research in Africa, the Centre of Excellence for Nutrition (CEN) will continue to support the staff of the University of Ghana (UG). Mainly focussing on equiping the UG to be able to provide the same support to surrounding countries, whilst CEN focuses on countries surrounding South-Africa. Which in turn will lead to two Nutrition Research Hubs in Africa.
We envision that CEN and UG will share their expertise and resources with each other and together present courses and provide materials that can be used to equip and empower post-graduate students and nutrition professionals. The main aim of this collaboration is to establish and strengthen nutrition research capacity in Africa.
