Background
In 2009 I completed my BCom degree in Tourism management and Recreation science at the NWU Potchefstroom campus. I also became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society in 2009. In 2010 I registered for my Honours degree in Recreation Science at the NWU, and completed my Masters Degree from the NWU; titled “Changing divorced single parents and children’s attitudes and relationships through leisure participation” in 2013. I also have my PhD in Recreation science, titled “Interpretive description of recreational therapy within selected health care professions in South Africa”.
