I hold a PhD in Human Movement Sciences and I am accredited by the International Society of Performance Analysis in Sport as a level 3 applied performance analyst. I’ve been involved as an analyst with male and female football as well as the South African Women's Hockey team. As a performance analyst I accompanied them to the World League tournament in 2017 and the 2018 World cup in London. Although most of my research specializes in Global Positioning System (GPS) analysis within the team sport environment I have collaborated with Barry University (Florida) on a project analysing the blood lactate dynamics and heart rate variability in ultra-distance relay runners as well. My research interest and current projects focus on GPS analysis and specifically fatigue analysis in rugby union, hockey and football.
