Research subprogrammes

The research in MUSA is structured within three sub-programmes, namely “Pharmacovigilance[1] and Pharmacoepidemiology”, “Pharmaceuticals and health economics”, and “Pharmaceutical Public healthcare governance” that is multidisciplinary and collaborative to strengthen its impact on both the healthcare industry and scientific community. This allows the unit to combine the expertise of diverse researchers to successfully promote effective teamwork and cooperation between external experts and internal role-players. Furthermore, these sub-programmes are aligned with the three Master of Pharmacy postgraduate programmes and the PhD in Pharmacy Practice, namely: Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacy Practice with Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology; Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacy Practice with Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy; and, lastly, Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacy Practice with Pharmaceutical Public Healthcare Governance.
