Welcome to the School of Nursing Science in a new year with new expectations and challenges! To be a nursing student at the Potchefstroom Campus of the North-West University will always be a special privilege. Nursing students on this campus are distinguished for their involvement in the community as well as their caring and goodwill towards fellow students.

The School of Nursing Science has an excellent history of training outstanding professionals that make an exceptional difference where they are employed after completion of their studies.

A special welcome to the first year students, we hope that your studies and experience at the NWU will make a difference in your future. To our existing students, welcome back and thank you that you continue to make us proud. I sincerely hope that you will have a positive year and reach the outcomes and high expectations that the community, the NWU and the School of Nursing Science expect from you as a PUK nursing student.
