Background
My research focuses on self-regulation as psychological strength. Self-regulation refers to the neurocognitive ability to plan, guide and monitor one’s own behaviour flexibly according to changing circumstances. My research expertise / focus is specifically on how people anticipate, reflect on, and respond to perceived and real change. I apply a diverse range of research designs and methodologies, depending on the specific question and aims for a specific sub-project.
