Master of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Work
I obtained my Matric in 2014 and went on to complete a Bachelor of Social Work in 2019 at North-West University, Mafikeng Campus. In 2023, I further advanced my academic qualifications by obtaining a Master of Social Work. My professional experience includes serving as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) Facilitator at North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, where I supported student learning and academic development. I also worked as a Contract Social Worker at the Department of Social Development, gaining practical experience in community-based interventions and social support services. Additionally, I have served as a Student Life Coach at Khenn Institute, where I provided guidance and mentorship to students.
Currently, I am working as a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences at North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, contributing to the academic and professional development of future social workers. I possess strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and conflict management skills, which support my effectiveness in both academic and practice settings. I am also actively developing my research competencies, with key interests in mental health, incarceration, restorative justice, victim advocacy, and child protection.
