My research explores why some people develop or experience worse outcomes from cardiovascular disease and other chronic conditions than others, despite facing similar health risks. I study how multilevel determinants of health, including biological, behavioural, social, and environmental factors, interact to influence health across different communities. By bringing together knowledge from different disciplines, I aim to improve our understanding of chronic disease and help inform more effective approaches to prevention and care.
