PhD in Transdisciplinary Health Sciences, M.Soc.Sc; B.Psych (Counselling Psychology)
My research investigates strengths-based approaches to promoting well-being among marginalised populations, including gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM). I explore how positive psychology can be applied and reimagined within the African context to highlight resilience and agency. I am also venturing into research focused on strengthening health system leadership to ensure responsive healthcare environments. Central to my work is the integration of qualitative designs, transdisciplinary approaches, and community-integrated research. My goal is to generate contextually grounded and co-created knowledge that leads to personal well-being and systemic transformation.
